(2) HENRY s/o Henry & Susanna (?) Carrico, m. Lucy Reed d/o
Nathan & Mary (Hayes) Reed 21 Jan. 1831, Washington Co.,KY;
migrated to Fancy Farm 1837, seven children.
Note: In a letter from Wm. Columbus Morton, great grandson of
Henry & Lucy Carrico, who did considerable Carrico research, now
deceased, wrote me 12 April 1985: "... I believe that I have
presented predominant and ample evidence that Mary Harriet(m.
stanislaus Toon 1828), stanislaus, John (m. Ann Montgomery
1817), CORNELIUS (m. Teresa O'Bryan 1823), HENRY (m. Lucy
Reed 1831), and Perdilla(m. William Toon 1829) WERE
BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO ONE ANOTHER." And the parents
of these six children were Henry & Susanna(?) Carrico, CHARLES
COUNTY, MARYLAND. What think YOU? Do you have any
sources, evidence?
(3) FRANCIS MARION (b.1835) s/o Henry C. & Nancy Ann
(wethington) Carrico( Casey & then Daviess Counties,KY migrated
to Fancy Farm, m. Eliza Jane d/o Samuel & Elizabeth (Hobbs)
Willett (the "founders" in 1829 of what became Fancy Farm,
Graves County, KY in 1843); eight children.(Note: A brother of
Francis Marion, Wm. Alexander (b.1832), who m. Martha
Brewer,also migrated to Fancy Farm, and later to Missouri.)
