Hello List,
We have a new member (#146909), who appears to be the stepson of a Thomas E.
CARRICO of Carroll Co., VA. Even if he's not a CARRICO by blood, he is a
CARRICO by name, and I'd like to have the paper genealogy of both his biological
father and stepfather correctly done. However, I've been tearing my hair out
trying to accomplish this feat. If any of you like a genealogical challenge,
this is a good one.
Please consider my family group sheets for them incomplete and very tentative.
I know they're not "right," but for the moment, I'm burned out on
working on
them. You can hook into them from Thomas's page:

The tested individual descends from stepson John EDWARDS-CARRICO. Some family
members believe John is really Thomas CARRICO's biological son, not the son of
Charles EDWARDS. Of course, the DNA test will answer that question. If not,
the next question would be whether or not he's the son of Charles EDWARDS.
There are also questions about the ancestry of John's mother, Laura Plutina
EDWARDS. I have not ironed those out, either.
