Hi Don:
I agree with Chris - and Diana. I just reviewed the Carrico Y-DNA Project
data - You and I match on the 12 markers for which you have been tested.
If I understand correctly, you've traced your Carrico lineage to Cornelius.
He is one of a half-dozen or so Carricos from that generation that I've
identified as the possible father of my g-g-grandfather, Matthew G. Carrico.
We have run into a "brick wall" finding the parents of Matthew G. - who was
born about 1810 - we believe in Spencer County, KY (or a predecessor
county).
I would greatly appreciate if you (and all other participants in the
project) would go for the full 67 marker testing. We also need other
Carrico males to participate (especially those with good documentation back
to Peter I). If we are ever to break down these "brick walls", we need all
the solid information we can find. This Carrico Y-DNA Project seems to
present a lot of hope for making meaningful progress.

Good morning, Don,
I, for one, would like to see if you and I match on all 67 markers.
You and I both can trace our lines back to an ancestor named Cornelius
from Washington Co., KY.
Although we know they are different individuals, the circumstantial
evidence suggests a very close relationship between them.
I may be mistaken, but testing to all 67 markers may allow us to either
rule out or keep alive that possibility, if not confirm it outright.
If, on the other hand, you match one of the other individuals, it could
present strong enough evidence to allow you to trace your ancestry back
even further.
I say "stimulate" the economy, and go for the 67.
Yours,
Chris

Hi Diana,
My kit # is 121108 and I had a 12 marker test completed. I've been
considering having additional test done. What would you recommend and what
additional information do you think it could be provide?
Thanks Don Carrico

Hello List,
One of the J2a2 CARRICOs told me they're having trouble printing
the
results
table at the FTDNA web site. If any of you have been able to do so,
please
share how you did it. (I can't experiment with trying because my
printer's
caput.)
In lieu of printing the FTDNA version, I've created a
"minimal" version
of the
results table at my web site that may be easier to print:
