Hello Linda,
Thank you for the mentioning CARRICO-DNA on the CARRICO list and for the
invitation. I think rather than cross-posting messages, I hope people will join
both lists, with the CARRICO list maintaining its roll for discussing CARRICO
genealogy, while CARRICO-DNA functions primarily to serve the CARRICO DNA
project. Neither list is very active, so no one will be deluged with email.
I should add that it is RootsWeb who has enforced this distinction, which is why
the companion DNA lists were created in the first place. I argued from the
beginning (when I started my first DNA project 2½ years ago) that parallel lists
should NOT be created, but my arguments did not prevail. As it turns out, I
think RootsWeb was right. Some people are very interested in DNA testing, while
others are very turned off by it. This way the subscribers have a choice.
Diana

Diana,
I only posted the once, have been waiting for the list to become "active".
That
message, I believe, was a copy of the same message I sent to the
carrico list.
Which, I have advised the Carrico list of the Carrico-DNA list, there were one
or two responces & I tried to explain that they were 2 seperate lists & a
subscription to the new list was necessary. I don't know if anyone heeded my
advise :-)
I welcome you to post to the Carrico list explaining the DNA list & also hope
that in the future, if there are any messages sent to this (the DNA list) that
if it is felt the information would be of interest to the Carrico list that it
is forwarded or request for it to be forwarded to both lists.
