The following are the earliest Carrick settlers I've found in VA and MD.
I'm wondering if anyone has found any earlier Carricks ( or alternate
spellings) and if anyone has been able to track those listed to Charles Co. or Prince
Georges Co. MD?
Richard Carrick: Transported to VA 1650 or earlier by Capt Moore Fantleroy
(Fauntleroy). see

Thomas Carrick [others have read this as Carrick although I don't see it]:
Transported to VA 1669 or earlier by John Piper. see

Edward Kerrick: VA 1671, found in "Passenger and Immigration Index
1500s-1900s" available through
Genealogy.com and
Ancestry.com. I've not been
able to
view this document since my limited subscription does not allow viewing
immigration information. Perhaps someone with "deluxe" subscription might
check
on this one.
Robert Carrick: 1709 -1719 VA? MD? Mentioned in Lib. T.P. No 4 (17253) p.
524. This document is available at Maryland State Archives but I've not been
able to find it in the Online Archives. I'm assuming his "mention" is from
a
list of transported but I could be wrong. Perhaps someone with more
experience with the Online Archives can check this one.
