1833; had issue, among others: 1. David, b. April 1, 1782; d. Dec. 25,
1863; served in the war of 1812; m. Elizabeth _____, b. 1794; d. Nov. 15,
1873 (had issue, among others: i. Agnes-E., m.1845, John Hanna Hammond); 2.
John, d. 1854; 3. Laura, m. _____ Andrews; 4. Nancy, m. _____ Carr; 5.
James-W., b. Oct. 14, 1799; removed with his parents to Short Creek
township, where he d. Mar. 10, 1855; m. (1st) 1825, Martha Pennel, d. Jan.
7, 1833; m. (2nd) 1834, Mrs. Sarah Campbell Boggs, a native of Belmont
County, Ohio, d. 1870, daughter of WIlliam Campbell, an early pioneer of
Belmont County (had issue by first wife, three children; had issue by
second wife, eight children, of whom: i. Ezra-L., b Dec. 15, 1843; served
in the Civil War; m. 1872, Martha Jamison, daughter of Andrew Jamison).
