<< >STEVEN F. CARR, 48, of Hopkins Manor, a fiscal officer for the R.I.
Department of Motor Vehicles, in Providence and West Warwick, until
retiring due to illness, died Friday at the manor.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of Phyllis (Small) Carr of North Providence
and the late S. Franklin Carr Jr., CSM Ret., he had lived on Woodhaven
Boulevard and as a child had traveled extensively through the United
States Germany and Okinawa, due to his father's military career.
Mr. Carr also had been employed as a security officer and guide by the
Rhode Island School of Design.
He was a member of the former North Providence Baptist Temple,
which became the Ocean State Baptist Church in Smithfield, of which he
was a charter member.
Besides his mother, he leaves a brother, Michael D. Carr of San
Francisco; two sisters, Susan M. Ivy of Aztec, N.M., and Cynthia A.
Unsworth of Smithfield; several nieces and nephews; and several
great-nieces and great-nephews. >>

I couldn't find an Unsworth listed in Smithfield, RI, and there were too many
Unsworths in RI to bother with it. I found one Ivy in Aztec, NM, but there
are more than a few in the state of NM and several in nearby zip codes.
