Hi - found your site and enjoyed looking through the Carr database. My great
grandmother was Susanna Carr who married Nathan Probasco. We are going to
have a reunion in Kansas next year so am trying to gather info to share with
other relatives. I didn't find where Susanna fit in your tree so was curious
how she is connected in your database. my e-mail address is lestodd(a)aol.com
Thanks - Kathy King Todd >>

I am including an Outline Descendant Tree with Susanna included, as well as a
copy of inquiries I've received on this same subject. I don't know if the
email addresses are still valid. Those addresses without endings are @aol.com.

If this is the right Susannah Carr I would like to say Hello there cousin.
My relation to A Susannah Carr is that mine married a Nathan S. Probasco.
Their daughter Hulda Mae (May) married an Albert Grant Combs. And their
daughter Birdie Combs is\was my grandmother. I along with several of my
cousins are searching for family. If you are related please let me know. We
are trying to find Albert's father. All we know is his name may be Thomas
Combs. We have found several Thomas Combs' but so far not the right one. I
have found at least three cousins in less than a month. One I knew of, but
did not know how to reach. The others just popped up. I have been
researching for a few years now, but I just got a computer and got on-line.
Any help you can give us is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance either
way.

I am looking for anyone who may have information on the Carr line I am
researching.
Joseph F. Carr (born around 1810 in Pennsylvania) who married Margaret Ann
Thomas (born 12 Feb 1819 in New York). They were married 3 Jun 1837 in Port
Jervis, Orange County, New York.
The family followed their oldest daughter, Susanna Carr, and her husband,
Nathan S. Probasco, to Kansas somewhere between 1855 and 1860.

I am looking for information on JOSEPH F. CARR b. 1810 Wayne Co. PA m.
Margaret A Thomas b. 1819 Family legend has it that his family owned a
large chunk of Long Island which was first given a 99 year lease and
then
sold. Does this ring any bells for anyone? Any advice on how I might
come
up with land records this old with only a guess at the date? I really
have
no idea if this was his father or grandfather or even further back. My
grandmother said she saw the lease papers, but they were burnt in a fire.
Maybe it is to much of a long shot? Any advice would be appreciated. I
know a couple of others who are researching this line and all are stuck
on
this one ancestor.
children were:
Susannah A Carr b. 1838 NY
William Thomas Carr b. 1862 Orange Co. NY
Lewis W. Carr b. 1842

Gebrial S b.1853 NY
Lydia Ann b.1855 NY
Bowman b.1858
Martha Jane b. 1861 KS

If anyone finds one of these names in their data base, or has advice on how
to precede, I would appreciate it.

I have a Carr family that moved from NJ to Wayne Co PA around 1805. I've got
Wayne Co census notes from the local historical society and don't recall
seeing anything matching your Joseph, but I wouldn't expect to if the family
moved west.

The children you listed have a wide range of dobs, almost 30 yrs. Looks like
more than one generation, or more than one marriage??
