All I have on Susannah Meekins' DOD is a WFT est. of 1764-1814. I do not
know why they gave 1764 as the earliest date, except that she must be
mentioned in a record in 1763 or so. And, as the other response said,
Meekins was born in 1762, so it would have been after that.
Although, maybe the estimate took into consideration that if Susannah had
died any earlier, Meekins would not have survived. That is very possible,
since babies died without the mothers in those days. They didn't have
bottles (I don't believe), and formula and sterilizing of bottles were
non-existent. I am sure the lack of nurturing by the mother was a
contributing factor, too.... Whatever.
