I am looking for more definite information on the Carr side of my family.
My grandfather's (Richard Bruce Wilson 1888-1953, both at Chicago)father
(Cleon Bruce Wilson born Morgantown,Va.-later WV-died Chicago,1910) was the
son of Helen Elizabeth Carr of Morgantown who died in Chicago in 1901. Both
her father and her brother were doctor's named Richard Bruce Carr and I
believe that her nephew was also Richard Bruce Carr,M.D. The only other
relatives I know of were cousins of my great-grandfather from
Fredericksburg,Va. One, a doctor, moved to Chicago in 1843 and his best
known child was Brig.Gen. Camilo Cadmus Casati Carr, best known for his
efforts in the Spanish-American War in Puerto Rico.I would appreciate any
leads as i have no idea what happened to Dr. Carr or if any of the family is
still in Viginia or West Virginia.
