I have recently found out that there were CARR/KARR/KERR's living in
Walker Creek area in the 1700-1800 of VA., I believe it to be near
Sinking Creek, Giles, VA.
I'm searching for James KERR/KARR/CARR b: abt 1792-1800. In looking at
the FHLC at the LDS FHC for films I can order.... I found nothing on
Walker Creek. I may be looking in the wrong place. Is there someone
that could help me in this locality? I was told in an e-mail, that I
can't find... there was a settlement in Walker Creek and a James KARR
was living there... James' father was also James, not proven.
James KERR, m: Mary A. (Polly) TAYLOR 27 Jan. 1827 Giles, VA. b: abt
1801 Montgomery, VA. Their children were, Nancy KARR b: abt 1823,
Isabella KARR b: abt 1829 Sinking Creek, Giles, VA., Lucinda KARR b: abt
1832 Giles, VA., Samuel KARR b: abt 1833 Giles, VA., Jacob KARR b: abt
1835 Giles, VA., Mary KARR b: abt 1840 Giles, VA., John KARR b: abt 1846
Giles, VA.
James and Mary and there son John... also there daughter Isabella (KARR)
WEBB and Isabella's children, Mary WEBB, Nancy WEBB, and John WEBB moved
to Rutland Twp. Meigs, OH. (1870). 1880 same place... James is no
longer with the family... (died??) Mary A. CARR, Isabella WEBB, her
children John A. WEBB, Nancy A. WEBB.
Mary CARR died Rutland Twp., Meigs, OH. widowed at the age of 85, 17
Dec. 1886.
