I have asked this before...I need to change the e-mail address where I
receive information. How can I do this before this account expires? Also
does anyone have information on Carrs who settled in Chicago? The first in
my line was Dr. Richard Carr from Fredericksburg, VA in 1843. His best know
son and my great-grandmatoher's first cusin was General Camilo Cadmus
Casatti Carr who fought on the Union side in the Ciovil war, was in the
Spanish-American War and military governor of Western Puerto Rico after the
war and eventually commandant of Fort Leavenworth before his retirement to
Chiago.

Jeff,
According to the book, "St Clair IL marriages 1845-1869" by Robert Buecher,
Jacob Carr married Nancy Rittenhouse and the license was obtained on
12/26/1866 and the license # is: 2286.
