Not meaning to be disagreeable, but I have a death certificate for my g
grandmother's sister who was 3 yrs of age at death. The death certificate
says that she was of GERMAN descent. Last name spelled KARR.
Explanation????? I also know that my KARR family married into PFUNDSTEIN,
who
was also of Jewish, German descent.
Thanks for listening. Any comments are welcome!

I think Karr is a German name, in some cases a variation of Gehr. There might
be some Karr surnames as variations of Kerr, making them Scot, but the ones
I've seen were German. FYI.
