CARR, ROBERT E. SR., 57 of Smithfield Rd. North Providence, RI, died on
Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital North Providence. Born in Providence
the son of the late Herbert P. and Evelyn M. (Dempsey) Carr, he was a
former Providence resident residing in North Providence for the past 2
years. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. Mr. Carr was a tool
maker for several local companies for 35 years retiring in 1995. He is
survived by a son Robert E. Carr Jr. of Warwick, a daughter Stephanie J.
Carbone of Cranston, his former wife Janice E. Carr of Cranston, a sister
Rita M. Collar of North Attleboro, three grandsons and several nieces and
nephews. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO
FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial, with
Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours
Thursday 4-8 p.m.
