If anyone out there is really stuck and you don't know where to go from here, may I
suggest that you send me your genealogical queries.
I'm Dave Kerr, the Genealogy Director of the Kerr Family Association of North America
and we publish a quarterly newsletter called the Border Line.
We often publish a Kinsearching column and if you would like to get your query in
June's edition, just do the following:
Send me everything you know about those for whom you are looking (i.e. date of birth, date
of death, where this person resided, etc. as much as you can provide).
Then email me this information - dhkerr(a)att.net.
I also will need a snail mail address where you can be contacted. We don't accept
email addresses for two reasons - 1. They change, 2. Some of our members don't have
email.
I will then forward the query to our editor.
I can't promise that your's will make the next edition, but we're always
interested in helping out any way we can and the editor will save your queries for future
editions.
Also, I cannot send out free copies of the newsletter. If you need more info on how you
can join the Kerr Family Association and get the Border Line, I'll be glad to provide
it to you.
By the way, we do cover families in Canada also as we have members in that great country.
If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to email me.
Dave Kerr
