Obituary: Myles F. Carr of Canton, a salesman with Gentles Bakery in Boston,
died Thursday at the Town
and Country Nursing Home in Lowell after a brief illness. He was 87.
Mr. Carr was born and raised in Boston, where he attended local schools. He
moved to Canton in 1951.
Mr. Carr worked at Gentles Bakery for more than 20 years before retiring in
1972.
Husband of the late Gladys F. (Betts), Mr. Carr is survived by a son,
Francis S. of New Hampshire; a
daughter, Gladys F. Sirois of Lowell; 14 grandchildren; 23
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church in
Canton at 9 a.m.
Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
