Willard Carr Hanson, 72, of Bowling Green, KY, died on Tuesday,
(April 4, 2000), at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in
Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada and was the son of Willard
Everett Hanson and Anne Dorothy Carr Hanson. Mr. Hanson was a
Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a radio
and TV broadcaster at Western Kentucky University and belonged to
the AFTRA-SAG Union. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Nuzum
Hanson of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Paula Hanson of Bowling
Green, KY; two sons, Mark E. Hanson of Oakton, VA, Gregory W.
Hanson of Annandale, VA; sister, Deborah Hanson Carlson of
Deerfield, IL; brother, Lowell D. Hanson of Schenectady, NY; two
granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by his parents. The funeral will be held on Sunday, 3
p.m., at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, Bowling Green, KY.
Calling hours are Saturday, 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial
