Francis F. Carr Jr., D.D.S., 63 of Richmond, died Friday, June 16,
2000. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Robertson Carr: two sons,
Archer Robertson Carr and Daniel Foster Carr, both of Richmond; and one
brother Wesley Daniel Carr of Charlottesville. Dr. Carr had practiced
dentistry since 1963. He was currently Adjunct Professor of Dentistry
at MCV, Chairman of the Richmond City Advisory Board of Health and was
Past President of the Richmond Dental Society. Dr. Carr was Committee
Chairman for Boy Scout Troop 443 at First Baptist Church. Remains rest
at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where
the family will receive friends 5 to 7 Sunday, and where services will
be held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 19. Interment in Hollywood Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Campaign for Family
Values, Robert E. Lee Council, Boy Scouts of America, 4015 Fitzhugh
Ave., Richmond, VA 23230.
