I'm searching for Orson and or Alonzo Carr. Orson passed away in 1990, in Ohio. But
Alonzo is still living. Both brothers have lived on Ohio and West Virginia. Whitesville WV
is where they were born. If Orson has family out there...you have more family over here. I
would love to speak with any of Orson or Alonzos' children or relatives. Please
contact me?

In the name of God amen Know all who it may concern that I Mary Kerr being
at present in a sick and weak condition of body but in perfect soundness of
mind and judgment do hereby Constitute this my last Will and Testament, and
first and chiefly I recommend my Soul to God who gave it and my body to be
buried with decent Christian buriel. And as touching such Worldly property
as it has pleased God to give me I will and dispose of it in the following
maner, to wit the half of the money willed to me by my grand Mother at my
mothers death I will and Bequeath to my husband John Kerr I also will and
bequeath to my sister Esther Watson the sum of five hundred dollars and to
my cousin John Barr Junior I also will and bequeath the sum of five
hundred dollars, and to the Western foreign missionary society I also Will
and bequeath the sum of five hundred dollars, and to my brother William
Watson I will and bequeath my part of my fathers farm which would fall to
me at my Mothers death and whatever balance my yet remain in my guardians
hands of my share of my fathers personal Estate. I will and bequeath to my
Husband John Kerr and if the above bequeath should be more or less at my
Mothers death I allow them to be increased or diminished in proportion and
I do hereby constitute and appoint John Park and John Barr of Washington
County My executors to carry this my last Will into execution according to
the same meaning and intent thereof witness my hand and seale and done at
Pittsburgh this 21st day of November 1836.

Elizabeth Kerr
I Elizabeth Kerr, of the county of Guernsey and State of Ohio, do make and
publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following.
First, It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully
paid. Second, I will and bequeath to James A. Patterson, my house and lot
in Allegheny City, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and one hundred (100)
dollars in money. Third, I will and bequeath to the Associate Synod that
met in Xevia May 1865, of which Rev. Williamson is a member, one hundred
dollars. Fourth, I will and bequeath to Andrew J. Patterson, fifty (50)
dollars. Fifth, I will and bequeath to Archibald Paterson fifty (50)
dollars. Fifth, I will and bequeath to my brother James McCunes heirs five
dollars, 4th I will and bequeath to Joseph McCune fifty (50) dollars in
addition to his divide that I willed to his fathers heirs, in case he
really needs it, and which he cannot give it away, but it will go Mary and
Jane Patterson, equally. Seventh, I will and bequeath to Mary and
Patterson, sisters of James A. Patterson the balance of my effects and
moneys equally between them, and in case either or both of them should die
and not need their share, then it goes to James A. Patterson. Lestly, I
hereby constitute and appoint John Bell to be the executor of this my last
will and testament, and do ratify this my last will and testament and
confirm the same, and do hereby revoke all former wills by me made, and
make them null and void.
Signed published and declared by the above named Elizabeth Kerr as and for
her last will and testament in presence of us who at her request sign our
names s witnesses to the same.

John Bennett and Arthur D. Simpson, being duly sworn in open court this 9th
day of March A.D. 1866, depose and say that we were present at the
execution of the last will and testament of Elizabeth Kerr, hereinto
annexed; that we saw the said testatrix subscribe said will, and heard her
publish and declare the same to be her last will and testament, and that
the said testatrix at the time of executing the same was of full age, and
of sound mind and memory, and not under any restraint, and that we signed
the same as witnesses at her request and in her presence and in the
presence of each other.
