Bernard L. Carr
Ross [name of town where he lived]
Bernard L. Carr, 87, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, in UPMC Passavant,
McCandless. Born July 24, 1913 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late
Minnie Fuchs. Mr. Carr was a retired optician. He was a past Master of the
North Hills Lodge 716 Free & Accepted Masons and a member of the Syria
Temple, Islam Grotto and Naco Caravan 19. Survivors include his wife,
Mabel M. Niklaus Carr; two sons, Bernard E. Carr and Warren A. Carr,
both of Ross; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends will
be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday in SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 388 Center Ave., West
View, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. H. William
Dambach of North Hills United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will
be in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler. Memorial contributions can be made to
North Hills United Presbyterian Church, 100 Bellevue Ave., Pittsburgh, PA
15229.
