Sydney Randall came from a family that owned farms along Nicodemus road
in Carroll County. Samuel and his sons bought more farms in the
warfieldsburg area of Carroll county. Samuel Carr is thought to have
emigrated from Ireland with 2 brothers between 1815 and 1820. He might
be from County Waterford.
