Chester Le Street St. Mary and St. Cuthbert baptisms:
William Carr baptised 5 Sept 1847 son of William and Margaret Carr. There
is also a baptism of William Carr 23 July 1847 with parents William and
Margaret also. Either he was baptised twice--not suppose to happen - or he
had a younger brother William who was baptised and died and the next was a
boy they named William. Not unheard of. I have burials for that time
period and no William Carr. The other could be two families of William and
Margaret Carr.
Margaret Carr baptised 5 Dec 1875 d/o William and Leah
Mary Carr baptised 5 Dec 1875 d/o William and Leah
Baptism Thornley St. Bartholomew:
Leah Ferguson born 19 Jan 1850, baptised 27 Feb 1859 daughter of Henry and
Mary Ferguson.
I have quit a bit of records for Co Durham and Northumberland if you should
want more. This should get you started.
