Does your William Carr have a brother named James by any chance? My gggrandfather was born
in Maryland in the 1700's also.

I am a descendant of William Carr born 1762 in Maryland and died in Michigan who was a
brother to your Joshua born 1748. Not much is online about Thomas born 1798 in PA, the son
of William, but I have done a lot of research on the descendants of Thomas and plan to put
it out on Ancestry soon. Has anyone figured out yet how we connect Walter born about 1632
to Ireland or Scotland? My grandfather, Harry Carr, said we were Scots/Irish.
