In response to the message I sent last night, there is a an error. It
should read in the last paragraph:
"Now to going back to the father of William Carr. I have a Chancery Record
where the children of John Carr of Hanover Co VA (John, Thomas, William,
Sarah, Mary and Elizabeth), 50 years after his death, were in a dispute over the
land, personal property and slaves. John Carr died in Hanover Co. in 1753.
John Carr, of Hanover Co, was married to Jane ? and their children were:
John, Thomas, William, Sarah, Mary, and Elizabeth. This William is the father
of Thomas and the grandfather of Jenny, Fanny, Betsy and William."
Sorry about the error, there are just to many Johns, Thomas, and Williams!
The line should look like this:
John Carr m Jane ?
John
Thomas
William m Tabitha (possibly Hodges)
Jane m Peter Bass
Thomas B m 2nd Nancy Ragland
Jane
Frances m Samuel Farmer
William
Elizabeth
William H m Mary Anne "Polly" DeJarnett
Adeline
Paul
Patience
Mary m Wm Ridgeway
Silas m Nancy Martin
Sally m James Palmer
Sarah
Mary
Elizabeth
Again sorry for the mistake,
Julia
