NATALIE F. (GREENE) FINKLE, 78, of Selden Ave., Branford, Conn., and
formerly of Warwick, a retired executive secretary, died Sunday in St.
Raphael's Hospital, in New Haven, Conn.
She was the wife of Willard R. Finkle Sr. Born in Warwick, a daughter of
the late John J. and Anna (Carr) Greene, she had lived in the city for many
years before moving to Connecticut 30 years ago.
Mrs. Finkle had been an executive secretary to the Supreme Knight of the
Knights of Columbus, and also to the local chiarman of the United
Transportation Union, both in New Haven, before she retired.
She was a past president of the New Haven Women's Intermediate Club.
Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Patrice Notarfrancesco and
Natalie DeGennaro, both of Branford, Alayne Ravelo in Hawaii and Darriell
Rolka of Guilford, Conn.; a son, Willard R. Finkle R. of Branford; a
sister, Marilyn Tholander of Warwick; eight grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. from the Sisk Brothers Funeral
Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hamden.
