The more I look the more I am beginning to believe that my Daniel and Mercy
are the same as the Daniel Carr who married Mercy Carr (daughter of Thomas
and Mercy Carr of Massachusetts) in 1799.
Daniel and Mercy had a daughter Sarah born about 1803 possibly in
Bridgewater, MA.
Mercy had a daughter named Mary Redding, b: in 1809 in Westmoreland, New
Hampshire. Which is possible named for her brother Redding.
It is said that Mercy's sister Abigail was married in Westminster, Vermont,
and that Elizabeth and her husband Asa Pettengill spent time there in the
1790"s also.
Daniel Carr was in Westminster, Vermont in the 1830's
Birth years on Daniel's and Mercy's gravestones match the years.
Would someone have a copy of Thomas Carr's will who would be willing to
check to see if there is anything listed for Mercy Carr on possible
location?
Does anyone have any ideas on this scenario?
