Amasa moved to Indiana and those which follow were all born in Mt.

I hope this is helpful. What else can I give you?

1981, my Uncle, Charles Willis Carr, now deceased, published a book
called
"Ancestors and Descendents of Amasa Carr. It was distributed to
those who
paid in advance for it. I know he gave a copy to the Mormon Church
and it is
available from them. I have a copy.
In the book he states: "For the first three generations in the
genealogy, I
take the following from the framed 'Pedigree' of Governor Caleb Carr,
that
hangs on the wall of the living room in the old Carr Homestead in
Jamestown,
R. I."
There follows in the book: Andrew Kerr, John Kerr, William Kerr.
The next
is Benjamin Carr who was the father of Caleb and Robert.
Uncle Charlie spent so time in England during WWII as a Field Director
of
the Red Cross. He did some genealogy researching while there.
