EDMUND "TOOTS" CORR - Richmond, Rhode Island
EDMUND "TOOTS" CORR, 96, of Church Street, a retired inspector, died
Sunday at Westerly Health Center.
He was the husband of Margaret (Horan) Corr. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., a son of
the late George F. and Mary (Costello) Corr, he lived in Richmond most of
his life.
Mr. Corr was a materials inspector for Bradford Dye Associates until he
retired.
He had also worked for American Felt Mill and Richmond Lace Works, and been
a carpenter for Charles Link Builders.
He was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Carolina.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, James J. Corr of Shapleigh, Maine; a
daughter, Rosemary Corr of Westerly; four grandchildren, and many nieces and
nephews. He was the brother of the late James and George Corr, Jennie
Bazasso, Martha Noyes, Anna Paul and Margaret Vigue.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary
Church, Route 112, Carolina. Burial will be private.
