CARR, DANIEL PAUL, JR. born in Cranston, RI August 24, 1951 passed away
in Merrimack, NH, June 26, 2012. Beloved husband of Julia Ferrari, son
of Daniel P. Carr and Emma L. (Verry) Carr, brother of the late Susan
(Carr) Ferri and Christine Carr and uncle of Jennifer (Carr) Respalie.
Dan had a loving, kind and embracing soul. He had a profound love of
nature and people. He met his illness with honesty, humor and at times a
bit of mischief. In his life he achieved Eagle Scout and the God and
Country award graduating from Barrington High School. He went on to
graduate from Clark University taking lifelong friendships with him. He
collaborated with colleagues and his wife Julia to write and perform
music and poetry then build a printing press business, setting and
making his own type and crafting fine books in beautiful paper with
eloquent typeface which included woodcut art. He took time to enjoy
hiking, swimming and traveling. He took the time with every person he
met to connect with them and never left them without a smile or a warm
feeling deep in their soul. Services were private at the time of his
passing. There will be a memorial held on July 21st at 2 pm at the
Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge, NH.
