I have all the information that you sent.
I appreciate all your time in looking this up.
What are the dates for your grandfather? I found a John Carr on the 1850 census in Union
Indiana that showed he was born in Kentucky but did not have a wife. He had eight
children.
I also found information an William Carr. His will was dated Aug 2, 1760 in Spottsylvania
Co., VA. Probated Nov 4, 1760. Names sons, Thomas, William, Walter Chiles Carr and
Charled Brooks Carr, Daughters, Ann Carr, Elizabeth, Phoebe, Ann Brooks Carr.
It also had a Susanna Carr, same town and the will dated Nov 6, 1760. It listed her as
the appointed guardian of Charles Brooks Carr, Agnes Brooks Carr, Walter Chiles Carr,
Phoebe Carr, Thomas Carr, orphans of Wm Carr, deceased. Wm Carr, gent., security.
So maybe if we get back to Virginia this might be helpful.
I will look into the Harrison, Kentucky county history to see if that helps me.
Thanks for your help.
Oh, I am also helping a friend with the Massey name. Do your Massey come from the German
Empire (Poland)?
