Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

John "Jack" Thomas Carr MANSFIELD: John "Jack" Thomas Carr, 89, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away April 24, 2014 at Mifflin Care Center.
Jack was born on May 22, 1924 in Mansfield, OH (Richland County) to John and Vanessa (Gallagher) Carr.
He was retired from Westinghouse as a tool and dye maker and was also an active union member.
Jack belonged to many other fraternal organizations.
He was a life-time blood donor for the Red Cross and enjoyed "Big Band" music and playing the piano.
Survivors include his daughters, Patrice (Scott) First of Ashland, Ohio and Vanessa Carr of Seattle, WA; a grandson Patrick First and a great-grandson Austin First; one brother Tim Carr of Maine; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West. Mansfield, Ohio
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery
