I am related to Virginia Florence Carr. Her father, Uriah Jackson Carr, is my great-great grandfather. I knew her son, Henry Clay Carr and his wife, Nettie Bradley Hite. I knew their son Claudel
Carr. Claudell was develpmentally delayed and never married or lived on his own. He always stayed with Clay and Nettie. Claudell died in 1966. Clay died in 1967 and Nettie died in 1978. Clay was my grandfathers favorite Carr cousin. They grew up together and spent a lot of time together after they were grown and married. Clay always came to the family reunions that my grandfather, James Theodore Sprouse, Sr. held the last week in May or first week in June each year. My grandfather talked about sharing a sack of penny candy with Pamplin Carr when they were boys. I know that Pamplin "Pamp" died young----about 40 years old. I admit that I do not know anything much about the other children or who their father was. I know that my grandparents whispered about J. A. "Jack" Campbell being their father, but I do not know for sure. I'd be glad to swap info with you.

MCCONNELSVILLE: Eula Mae (Carr) Olasin, 93, of McConnelsville, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 after "ninety-sum" years of kicking butt.
Her final hours were peaceful and she was encircled in love here on earth and from above.
Eula was wife to Mike; mother to four children; Mimi to nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; one Catalonian; and many nieces, nephews, students and others who knew her as Mom or Mimi.
Eula always said, "We cry at birth and celebrate death."
The family asks that all who knew her honor her memory by celebrating.
In death she brings an opportunity to celebrate her brilliance and vitality that so many were blessed to know.
Eula was quick with a smile and an occasional glass of wine.
She touched hundreds of lives with her infectious personality.
As a high school teacher, she set the successful future for her students, proudly claiming to never have had a student fail at the cosmetology state boards.
She was particularly fond of Chef Boyardee ravoli, water balloons, food fights and celebrating Christmas in July in August.
Eula was in love with whole family. She made no secret of who were her favorites, and if she didn't like you, she let you know.
Eula taught the three phases of life, especially the third phase, "you better learn now because I will not be with you all of your life." But she was and always will be
. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held at 1:30p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband in McConnelsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the Malta & McConnelsville Fire Dept. 77 S. 4th St. McConnelsville, Ohio 43756 or to any local youth baseball program in Morgan County, Ohio.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.com
