Is this the same Walter Carr born ~1919 in Texas? Father George W Carr? If so, we are also related.

Hi --a sidenote:
Nathan's son John sounds like the John Carr (via dates, location) who was sheriff of Tombstone AZ during the sheep/cattle wars. (We used to get him mixed up with our JCarr, same dates/location.)

I'm searching for descendents of Elizabeth Elliott Carr. In 1987, a family member forwarded a letter to her, and she sent a letter to me from 33 Penshaw Gardens, East Stanley, Durham, England. Her mother, Elizabeth Elliott Walton, and my great-grandmother, Hannah Elliott Ashcroft, were sisters. She provided me with a few names and dates, and also wrote that she was in the process of moving. I was unable to locate her afterwards! (She mentions that she was the sister of John Robert Walton). My branch of the family came to the U.S. in 1912, and I would love to locate someone researching these lines, someone to share photos with, etc. I'm in my 50s now, and there are so few people left in my family, I'm worried I'll never connect with anyone else working on the Ashcroft/Elliott/Thompson/Bowe lines. Let me know if there is anyone out there!
