Have you tried USGENWEB.com ? You can choose state & Counties on this site and usually they have links to
Census records on each counties page.
Send me all info you have on Pauline and I will poke
around abit for you and see what I can find, maybe,
a new pair of eyes can find something you may have
missed. Send this info to my personal email address,
I will forward some site info for you to try that I
find helpful.
I have been doing Genealogy research on my Tree for
about 9 years now, and I still have my brickwall's.
What surname's are you researching ???

Death Certs are only as good as the folks giving the info.
Take them only at face value and not as gospel. The
info may only be a wild guess, or may be they dont even
know for sure, but "someone told me it might be ..."
Remember that the person giving the info may also have
been under stress and duress. That may not have mande
them think straight.
If others have found that it is Thomas and Rachel, that
may be the truth in what you can find in records. Was
his first or middle name John and he went by Thomas?
One of my ancestors was listed as being born in Canaan,
NY, on his death cert. He always said he was from CT
on the census. I finally found his parents in Sharon, CT,
where his mother apparently died in childbirth. Don't know
why none of his family knew that, but he had lived in
Canaan, NY, before moving to Troy.
I was told that my founding father was Roebuck Carr.
I could never find one in the records. I would go so far
and then hit a Henry Carr. I would start all over again.
I would still find Henry. Then I happened into a small
paper on Mary Carr and her husband Joseph Hidy.
It just happened to mention that a family name for
Henry was Roebuck. Then I found that the chart I was
given had mostly nicknames listed. My Ggrandfather
was "Abby." His name was Joab.
The doctor who attended my mother's birth, didn't expect
her to live. He fired off the Birth Cert. When she was 19
and applying for a Visa, she found that for those 19 years
her name was "baby" Daly. She had to get it changed
officially.

Hello!
I am another Alabama Carr researcher.
You ought to try looking for your grandmother in one of these counties, I know there is alot of Carr's in them.
Colbert, Limestone, Lauderdale, Franklin, & Blount.
My 4G Grandfather was John "Jack" Carr, Born 1801 NC?
We are not sure about where he was born.
He only had 1 son, William, but he went to Arkansas and
lived his life out there.
You can email me directly if you wish !

I am looking for anyone with information on my grandfather and his blood line. He was last known to live in Texas. He was born around 1933. He later married a hispanic woman named Antonia (Tonie) Garcia. They had 8 kids together before they divorced.
No one can seem to remember much about his family but they seem to think his mothers name was Georgia and that he has a brother Rodney and William but can not remember his sisters name. No one has a clue to what his fathers name is.
It is thought that they may have been from either Louisiana or Kentucky. This is not confirmed which does not help with the locating of ancestors.
If anyone has a clue to any of these people, let me know, if you have valid information that would be FANTASTIC!!!
