Question re: Mary age 13 in 1850. She is not in the 1860 census with her
family. It is assumed she was married by then. In 1865 she was living with
her parents as a widow. Her married name is Young.
Who was Mary's husband?
What was Permelia Carr's maiden name?
Thanks

My father was Frank Lesley Carr, who was the thirteenth child of William Henry Carr and Louisa Lloyd. William Henry's father was Joseph Carr who was married in 1840 to Sarah Gittins in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England. I have a copy of their marriage certificate which shows that Joseph's father's name was John. I have no idea where John was born or what the name of his wife was. If anybody out there can assist me I would appreciate it.

Looking for the parents of a John Carr born in Virginia 1763. Married Fanny Sells and both died in Tennessee. Their daughter is Margaret (Peggy) Carr who married Joseph Gore of Tennessee.
I recently ran across an old email that suggests that the husband to Fanny Sells was SOLOMON Carr. Does anyone know anything about this, could it be true?
