Have been for a very long time to no avail, for John Carr who married Fanny
Sells. He was born in 1763 in Virginia and died in Tennessee. Their daughter was
Margaret Carr born in Tennessee.
I have seen online where someone put his father using the surname as "CROW(E)".
Other than that, I have nothing further back on John.
Is there anyone in cyber space who knows more n this family?
Regards
Kathyjo Kirshman

While researching my Sallie Moore, I've obtained a death certificate for Sallie CARR MOORE. She was born 14 November 1880 in Cullman County, Alabama, and died 18 December 1958 in Jefferson County, Alabama. Her parents were Maxie CARR and Julie HOBSON. Her husband's name is not on the death certificate, though it indicates she was married at the time of her death.
If this is your Sallie CARR MOORE, I'd be happy to send you the certificate.

I am looking for information regarding W R (William?) Carr and Mary Carr. They were probably living in Marion County, Texas in 1858. They had at least one daughter, Allie Carr. Allie was born 23 Jan 1858 in Marion County and died 28 Feb 1913 in Grayson Co, Texas. She married William A. Jones in Texas. They had 8 children. Allie is my gr-gr-gr-grandmother. W R and Mary are listed on Allie's death certificate but I haven't been able to find any additional information on them.
Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
THanks,
Jennifer

It seems widely accepted that Mathew Carr/Kerr of Pulaski, Kentucky, born about 1765 and married to Susannah Ervin, was the son of Thomas Carr of Surry, North Carolina, born about 1731 in Gunpowder, Maryland. Does anyone know the basis for this? I have been unable to find any evidence that Thomas had a son named Mathew, much less that this Mathew moved to Kentucky.

Jim "Bean" Carr was my Great Grand-Father. I currently live in the Euilia Community. My Grandfather was Russell Harrison Carr. The Fred Carr mentioned in your email, passed away last year. Basom Carr was a brother to my Grand-Father. His nickname was "Bear." He lived in a hollow that was named after him, about 5 miles from my home. I am currently trying to find out about the Carr/Cook family tree. Please share the information you have and I will try to answer any questions you may have.
