>Does anyone know where Oscar Carr (or Karr) was in 1930? He was in Whitley Co., KY in 1910 (age 1 year) with parents Maudie and Samuel Carr/Karr. By 1920, Maudie and Samuel had divorced. Maudie was remarried to a Dunn and living in Knox Co., TN where she died in the 1960s. Oscar Carr, age 11, is in a school for children from troubled backgrounds in Tennessee in 1920. At some point, Oscar may have done some prison time. He also apparently, and inexplicably, changed his surname from Carr to Allen somewhere along the way. His name is Oscar Allen as the informant on his mother's certificate of death. Can anyone help me find Oscar Carr/Karr (or possibly Oscar Allen by that time) in 1930? He should be about 21 years old and, presumably, living in Tennessee. Thanks in advance!
