Looking for information that can tie this Joseph Carr as a brother in law to ISAAC NAILOR / NAYLOR.
Not sure of the first name of Joseph's wife. Her surname could have been NAILOR / NAYLOR or GOODMAN.
Joseph was mentioned in Isaac's will probated in 1820. When I looked at the 1820 census for KY, there were two other Joseph Carr's besides this one. One was living in Millersburg, Bourbon Co, KY. The other one was living in Trigg, Trigg Co, KY.
I think the one in Harrison Co, KY is the right one because one of Isaac Nailor's daughters was living there too.
Does anyone have info to help on this?
Thanks.

Hi Listers
I am new to this list and looking for my husband's family. Thomas
CARR/KERR was born in Roseden, Northumberland, England in 1832. His
parents were Richard CARR/KERR and Mary ?. In the 1851 census for
Flotterton, Rothbury, Thomas was living at home with his parents. He is
listed as married (at age 18), however his wife is not mentioned as
living at the same residence. Thomas married Isabala STAWARD in
Coldstream, Scotland in 1850 and their first child, Sarah, was born and
died in 1851.
In the 1851 census, Richard gives his birth place as Roxburgh, Scotland
and wife Mary is listed as being born in Berwickshire, Scotland.
One of Thomas' grandsons, Thomas McLeod Brotherston CARR emigrated to
America sometime before 1919 when he married Lowella FROST in Kansas.
I can't find any birth/christening record for our Thomas, nor any
further info re his parents. Thomas and Isabala moved around a lot
(they were agricultural labourers) with their 9 children being born
across Northumberland and into Scotland. Any others researching these
CARR's?
Looking forward to hearing from someone soon.
From Sue & Chris Carr, living in the most isolated city in the world,
Perth, Western Australia
