I am trying to find info regarding my gGrandfather Rev. Robert Carr. He was born near Muskogee in 1842 & died by his team of runaway horses in 1924. They lived in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Robert was a Capt. of the Lighthorsemen. He married Betty Barnett in probably 1870 or so. Robert & Betty's children were Ida (my Grandmother) Lula, Nettie, Addie & Annis. Robert's parents were Thomas & Coosa Carr. Betty's parents were Daniel & Sally Barnett. Betty had an Uncle named Timothy Barnett. It gets real foggy after Thomas/Coosa & Daniel/Sally Barnett. Please contact me even if you know just a hint of info. Mado (Thank you..)

Hello "Carr" researchers. I am looking for information on Mary Mollie Carr, born April 1, 1866 or 67 in Tennessee. She married a Mr. Isaac Parker, probably about 1883-83, her first child born in 1884. I found her on the Giles County 1900 census, widowed with 4 children, Don***, Louis, Grady and Mildred. She then moves to Texas, and marries a Mr. George Bartlett in October 1900, with only Louis and Mildred. Any information on these Carr/Parker families would be very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Gena Forsyth

Looking for decendants of the two sons of Sarah T. Carr:
Sarah Temperance Carr, b. May 13, 1849 at Belfast, Highland County, Ohio d. April 8, 1875 at Portage, Columbia County, Wisconsin at age 25 of Hemorrhage of the lungs, buried at Silver Lake Cemetary in Portage, WI.
I know that she married William Clark Allen on 12/25/1867 at Dekorra, Columbia County, Wisconsin and she had 2 children before her early death: (1) William Carr Allen b. 08/11/1869 at Dekorra, Columbia County, WI d. unknown~~cannot find his death info anywhere - I do know that he was alive in 1932 when he made the last entries in the family bible - but I do not know where he lived, if he children, or where he died. (2) Hugh Neil Talbot Allen b. 04/13/1873, d. 05/05/1928 in Minneapolis, MN - cannot find any info on any possible children. Must find descendants of either William or Hugh - I just keep hitting dead ends.
I know that Sarah Carr's parents were Samuel M. Carr and Sarah R. Shannon, married August 11, 1836 in Ohio - but no birth or death dates. The family bible lists a few siblings of Sarah, but probably not all of them, as these are names written under photographs, not recorded entries: brother J.S. Carr, brother James M. Carr, brother ?? Austin Carr, and sister Ruth A. Carr.
Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!!
