Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Jim- saw your message on board and decided to respond. I have a newton and possibly sara wright in my tree. They had a son named Andrew Jackson Mitchell. He was my gr grandfather. AJ was born in miss. but settled in VanZandt co then Dawson co Texas. I have Newton as being born around 1844. Aj born 1867. does this sound familiar? I look forward to hearing from you. I am looking for information about Elizabeth Carr, I believe from New York, who married John Dolson in the late 1700's, had nine children, and moved to Calhoun Co, Michigan. I don't have a birth or death date. Any help would be appreciated, since I have very little on her.

WENDELL D. CARR - West Warwick, RI

WENDELL D. CARR, 57, of Bottlebrush Drive, Palm Bay, Fla., a former
auto-parts manager, died Nov. 11 at home.
Born on April 5, 1945, in Indiana, a son of Ruth B. (Bates) Carr of
Barefoot Bay, Fla., and the late Douglas Carr, he had lived in West Warwick
before moving to Florida 10 years ago.
Mr. Carr was a parts manager for various dealerships, including Rizzo Ford
and the former Folgo Ford.
He enjoyed auto racing and repair.
Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Kelly Carr of Warwick; a
stepdaughter, Renee Brodeur of West Warwick; three stepsons, Robert Brodeur
of West Warwick, John Brodeur of Warwick and Michael Brodeur of Coventry; a
brother, Dana Carr of Victoria, in Australia; his former wife, Linda Carr
of West Warwick; and four stepgrandchildren.
Burial took place in Florida Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bushnell. A
memorial service will be held next Friday at 7 p.m. in St. Andrew & St.
Phillip Episcopal Church, 170 Fairview Ave., Coventry.
