Master Chief John Denis Carr, 45, died May 26, 2000. He was born May 7, 1955 in
Boston, MA, formerly of Jamaica Plain, MA. Master Chief Carr was an active duty
member of the US Navy for 26 years as a Sonar Technician and stationed at
Afloat
Training Group, Norfolk, VA. He is survived by his wife, Helen Carr, one
son, Justin
D. Carr, both of Chesapeake, his mother, Joan Jackson Carr of Jamaica
Plain, MA and
the late John W. Carr of Arlington, MA, one sister, Diane Carr of Boston, MA. A
funeral service with full military honors will be held Monday, June 5, 2000
at 10:00 am

THELMA I. CARR - Jamestown, RI
THELMA I. CARR, 76, of Green Lane, a secretary for the George Carr Plumbing
& Heating Co. for many years before retiring,
died Tuesday at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late Mr. Carr.
Born on Block Island, a daughter of the late Harry
and Minnie (Grattage) Allen, she was a resident of Jamestown for 54 years.
Mrs. Carr was a member of St. Matthew Episcopal Church.
She leaves three daughters, Sandra Vasquez of Corpus Christi, Texas, and
Pamela L. Carr and Elizabeth Sauzedde, both of
Jamestown; two sisters, Evelyn Gladding of Jamestown and Anna Allen of
Albany, N.Y.; and five grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held June 18 at 4 p.m. in St. Matthew Church, 87
Narragansett Ave. Burial will be private.

Well I made it to the Nj Stste Archives yesterday. Finally got my brick
wall s death Certificate and lo and behold it had his Parents names on
it. John Carr and Ruth Carr, Monmouth Co( I belive is the spelling of
their resedence) So since i was there I figured I'd go for his two
Marriage records also. !st marriage to amelia Kinfill (Kendall, Kindle)
no parents listed. 2nd marriage to Luna BSomers Braddock, Father William
Carr mother R. Nilson (Nelson, Nilsen?) But it's more than i had to go
