I have Mrs. Van Carper as Elizabeth.
I have Bliss married unknown Shoemaker.
Rosa is my great grandmother, I have her husband's obituary.
Obituary
Found in the Custer County Chief, Nebraska
29 Mar 1962, reads;
William C. Stucker,
Funeral services for William C. Stucker, 86, were held 12 Mar at the Ansley Baptist Church
with the Rev. James Ferguson officiating. Mrs. Olin Bellinger accompanied Mr. and Mrs
Floyd Junk as they sang, "The Old Ragged Cross" and " What a friend we have
in Jesus"
Pallbearers were John Eloe, Roy Garwood, Harry Johnson, Ray Shoemaker, Cloyd Curtis and
Rose Shoemaker.
Interment was in the Ansley Cemetery with the Parks funerall Home in charge. William
Curtis Stucker was born 17 Feb 1876 at Brighton,, Iowa, and died 19 Mar 1962 at the Ward
Rest Home in Ansley. As a small child, his family moved from Iowa to Miller, Nebraska. He
grew to adulthood and spent his life in Central Nebaska. He was united in marriage to Rose
Belle Carper at Miller on 11 Sept 1898. To this union were born five children, three sons
and two daughters.Mr. Stucker lived the last five years of his life at Ward Rest Home. He
was a member of the Anlsey Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by his family and
friends. Mr. Stucker farmed near Miller and later near Ansley and also worked as a Mason
for many years. Survivors in clude daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Ethel) Smith and Mrs. Helen
Davis, both of Ansley. Sons, Perry (Bud) Stucker of California, and Bob Stucker of Broken
Bow, Nebraska. Eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death on 8
