Isaac Carpenter (1779-1833) and Hannah Beaumont, probably in Chester County Pennsylvania,
had nine children. The children were William (1803-1828), Hannah (1805-1900), Sidney
(1807-unk), John (1810-unk), Isaac (1812-1878), Junius (1813-1893), Walter (1815-1895),
Jane (1818-1856) and Mifflin (1820-unk). Does anyone recognize this family? Did some of
the children (in particular John) migrate west to Ohio or Kentucky? Any information would
be appreciated.
The family information was presented to me, without any supporting documentation, as the
family of my brick wall - John Carpenter. The only thing I know about John is that he was
the husband of Francis (Fanny) Garver and together they had four children (Elizabeth Jane,
Catherine, Daniel and John) in Ohio/ Indiana. After he died, Francis married Ephraim
Adams in Highland Co. Ohio. I know what happened to Francis and her children. I
don't know anything about John and would like to learning something, anything, that
might help me learn more about this family. I am unwilling to accept this family without
something that supports the connection so, as I start to research into this possible
connection I thought I'd ask for help.
