I am afraid I must join those voices who are tired of the endless wrangling
of a small number of Carpenter researchers. I don't think these arguments
are terribly helpful to anyone at all -- to those doing the arguing or to
the rest of us who are unwillingly subjected to it. I echo the plea: Take it
off list. Perhaps the List Administrator, if any, can post some guidelines
for what does and does not constitute an appropriate post.

"In a word, no, I will not."
This should read, In a word, no, I could not.
As for Chandler's other examples, I don't trust the source.
I gave him one thousand wills to prove his point.
Start looking or shut up.

I have seen this activity before and watched these childish actions destroy
what was a good Carpenter Message Board administered by John R. Carpenter.
It is a shame that this effort could not be directed in a Positive manor
that could help us all.
Please don't let them drive you off of your Message Board ! If necessary
elevate the problem to the Rootsweb management for action.
