Hi,
Can you help this tax deductable cause? I am.
The main web page is at:
http://www.koreanwar.org/
Take a gander at the work they have done! They also include information on
units and queries of those that served after 1950-1953 hostilities in Korea.
Thanks!

PS Please pass this on to some one who may have an interest.

August Pledge Drive - We Need Help Now!!!

August 28 2002 Pledge Drive - Help Us Stay Online
===========================================================
From: Hal Barker- Founder and Director
This email will vary quite a bit from our normal mailing to those of you
who use the Korean War Project website. We need your help.
Due to a severe downturn in donations, we are urging all persons or
groups who have not previously donated to our nonprofit (IRS 501c3)
website to do so now.
See:
http://www.koreanwar.org/html/membership.html
===========================================================
Donations have been and will continue to be Voluntary! The Korean War
Project is Free To All Visitors, But Voluntary Donations Keep Us Online.
===========================================================
Our Present Situation:
The Korean War Project has been "hanging in there" by our fingernails
for several years thanks to the wonderful donations by our veterans and
family members.
Many of you know that we have been waiting for a major donation from a
well-known best-selling author who worked with many of our Members and
Friends to obtain Korean War and Vietnam letters for his book of war
letters.
Sadly, that donation will not be forthcoming.
The authors' donation would have allowed us to complete several tasks
and give some breathing room for continued operations.
Continuing the Korean War Project is our goal! But we are now in the
position of no longer remaining online without your immediate help.
Why?
The KWP has required more of our personal time on the console each year
of existence. The past year required more time than ever due to the
persistent virus, spam and hacking attacks on the system. The KWP is a
very complex operation involving scores of emails, dozens of phone
calls, and letters each day.
Thank you for financial help you can provide.
Hal and Ted Barker
