Subject: Joseph Coles Carpenter Going from NY to VA
Dear Mr. Nelson -
I am a descendant of the Carpenter family through Joseph Coles
Carpenter. I know that he came from New York to Botetourt County,
Virginia, but I am having a terrible time locating actual documentation of
that.
The LDS Library is trying to help but an employee called me today and
doesn't seem to be able to locate the journal the proof is in (article by
Raymond George Carpenter.)
I have tried to get the proof through my local library but they can find
nothing through inter-library loan.
Where can I get Raymond George Carpenter's updates #3 in CRFHJ Number
3? I have the book The Carpenter Family in America by Daniel H. Carpenter
but it doesn't talk about Joseph Carpenter and Peter Wright going from NY
to VA.
If you can help me I will be happy to pay for your time and effort. Thank
you so much.
