I have used Quintin, and they do a good job with their CDs, with one
warning: if they already have the CD made, they send it to you right away.
But they are so swamped, if they have to burn it, it takes a lot longer,
possibly as long as 6 months.
I believe it's Quintin that is willing to trade a little bit: if you let
them copy your document you can get a free CD.

I did a search on google yesterday to see if there were a place selling
Charles Lorain Carpenter's books and found this. It does have a couple of
books that I'd like but I also have a copy of a book on the Forbes of GA,
VA, and TX written by Caroline Forbes that there are no more extant
copies
of. She is willing to have some printed. Does anyone know about
Quintin?
I tried to get two copies done at Kinko's (with Caroline's permission)
and
it was out of sight. But I might find a couple of thousand bucks to
get
some more printed here if this is a good company.
By the way, the C L Carpenter, Sr book I have is The Descendants of
Timothy Carpenter of Pittsdown, Renssalaer Co., New York and I can't find
a
copy of the other.....nor can I remember the name of it at moment.
Can
anyone help me here?
I do have several copies of the first of his books, printed at Kinko's
with his granddaughter's permission, and while I need to give about four
more to area libraries, I will bring the rest to Louisville at the end of
the month in case anyone needs a copy.
