Hi Everyone,
Can anyone confirm the 1st 2 paragraphs??? The other families, Cock,
Cornell, etc also came w/the Carpenters??? Thomas Willett was the Capt of
the sloop Desiree, etc.
Does anyone know of this old cemetery near the old Smith stage coach house
in Armonk??? Am still looking for Chase relatives who have to be bur. in or
ard. Chatham, New Britain, Columbia Co., or Armonk, Westchester Co, NY.,
namely, Phebe Barnard Macy Chase, my ggg grandmother and Benjamin Chase 5,
gggg grandfather and his w. Mehitable Thurston Chase. Meh. Chase d. in New
Britain (PER Chatham Quaker Meeting Records, it states: "Chase: New Britain,
Mehitable Thurston Chase, ct. of Johnathan Thurston & Lydia Goddard, d. 10
June 1916, age 75 yrs)."
I have the Cornell and Cock line in my Chase line and do know that the 3rd
paragraph is wrong, as Willett and Mary Cock did not have a Jonathan. They
had Charity, Sarah, Daniel, Ambrose, Rebecca and Lydia who m. my Daniel Wood
Chase.
I really appreciate any help anyone can give me on any of this. Thanks so
MUCH!!!!!
