Anyone have any info on the Christine ZIMMERMAN of Baden Germany who married Jeremias
GOMILLION circa 1665 ?
Some of this line of Gomillions ended up in EDGEFIELD, SC. Since Zimmerman was sometimes
change to Carpenter, and my DNA is similar to the Zimmermans, I am wondering if there is a
connection here to the Abiah CARPENTER of Edgefield. Here are some records:

1767 for Marg. [Mary?] Carpenter.
1767 Odeon St. John of Congaree had citation granted him to administer on estate of Thomas
Letch late of same place CARPENTER as greatest creditor. 14th Aug. 1767.
1773 Elijah Merrybelly deeds land on the Edisto (Ligo or Tigo branch) adjacent to
Margaret Carpenter's land.
