Hello List,
I recently found out the Raymond George Carpenter who was a great help to many Carpenters
passed away in 2010.
Ray served in the military in World War 2 being severely wounded during the Battle of the
Bulge. It took him years to recover from his wounds and he found a niche as an insurance
agent. And above all he helped me and hundreds if not thousands of people on their
genealogy.
I am a bit ashamed at my self for not finding out about this sooner.
I want to let people know he really helped and encouraged me to gather up Carpenter lines
and help others. Why? For the Carpenter Family!
God Bless Ray!

extremely helpful to many Carpenter Researchers in the last half of the 20th
Century. His efforts in distributing and correcting Carpenter & Related
